MediGroup invests in Health Centre Jedro

Blue Sea Capital is pleased to announce that its Serbian health care platform MediGroup today signed an agreement to acquire Dom Zdravlja Jedro from Delta Generali Insurance, adding one of the largest outpatient providers in Serbia to MediGroup and expanding cooperation with Delta Generali, the leader in private health insurance in Serbia.

With the acquisition of Jedro, MediGroup continues to consolidate the market, adding one of the largest players in the sector, boasting half a million procedures and over 200 thousand patient visits annually. Cooperation between MediGroup and Delta Generali should further develop and improve the quality and accessibility of private health care in the country.

Dragan Filipovic, Member of the Executive Committee of Delta Generali and Chairman of Jedro, said: “The agreement is in the line with our strategy of disposing non-core businesses. Delta Generali will continue to cooperate with MediGroup and use Jedro for its customers in the private health insurance, its employees and their families“.

The agreement reached today is subject to conditions and approvals customary for this type of transaction.
