MediGroup invests in Health Centre Jedro
With the acquisition of Jedro, MediGroup continues to consolidate the market, adding one of the largest players in the sector, boasting half a million procedures and over 200 thousand patient visits annually. Cooperation between MediGroup and Delta Generali should further develop and improve the quality and accessibility of private health care in the country.
Sasa Galic, Managing Partner of Blue Sea Capital, said: “We are pleased with this transaction, our third investment the private health care sector in Serbia, that represents the continuation of the process of consolidation of the sector under the MediGroup brand.”
Dragan Filipovic, Member of the Executive Committee of Delta Generali and Chairman of Jedro, said: “The agreement is in the line with our strategy of disposing non-core businesses. Delta Generali will continue to cooperate with MediGroup and use Jedro for its customers in the private health insurance, its employees and their families“.
The agreement reached today is subject to conditions and approvals customary for this type of transaction.
